OXNARD : City Offers Trash Reduction Workshop

Oxnard trash officials plan to teach businesses and the public how to reduce waste at job sites and at home in a half-day pollution-prevention workshop set for Sept. 19.
The Oxnard Community Center workshop will discuss recycling, funding for waste-reduction programs and how some local companies are minimizing waste.
Sponsored by the Oxnard Refuse Division and the Wastewater Source Control Program, the workshop coincides with Pollution Prevention Week, Sept. 18-22.
