Irvine-Based Toshiba America Appoints New Vice President
* Thomas H. Scott has been named vice president and general manager of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., an Irvine computer and office equipment manufacturer. He succeeds Michael Winkler, who has left the company. Scott will be responsible for administration, product planning, marketing, sales, service and technical support for portable, laptop and notebook computers. He was previously vice president of sales for the computer systems division for five years. Succeeding him in that position is Van Andrews, who was formerly national field sales vice president and has been with Toshiba since 1991.
* Charles C. Augade has joined Holmes & Narver Inc. in Orange as a senior construction manager with the infrastructure business unit. He will be responsible for construction engineering and inspection projects in Southern California and other western states. Augade was most recently with Parson Brinckerhoff/Corridor Design Management Group.
* Thad Foret has been named general manager of Antonello Ristorante, a Santa Ana restaurant. Since joining Antonello’s in 1988, Foret has been waiter, marketing manager and director of banquet and catering services. He succeeds Craig Gilbert, who is joining the food and beverage division of the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.
* Rosalind Williams has been selected president and chief executive of the Newport Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau. She had been the executive director. Before that, Williams was vice president of national sales for Forte Hotels Inc., the parent company of the Travelodge and Thriftlodge chains.
* Judy Potts has been assigned to handle public relations responsibilities for Cleveland Golf in Cypress. She will continue to be involved in advertising placement for the company. Potts has been with Cleveland Golf since 1988.
* Jeri L. De Martini has been appointed executive vice president of the Jadtec Companies, an Orange-based company involved in computers and security systems. Before joining the company, she was a vice president of Bank of America in San Francisco, and she has also worked at Wells Fargo Bank and Barclays Bank of California.
* Frederick T. Rogers has joined the board of directors of the Orange County Venture Network. He is president of Select University Technologies Inc. in Newport Beach.
* Ann Cunningham has joined Barron Financial Services, an Irvine mortgage lender, as executive administrator. She will be responsible for all human resource and office management systems. Cunningham was formerly supervisor of office services for Pasadena Research Laboratories and division administrator for Norrell Services’ Western division headquarters.
* Pat Sullivan has been named vice president of financial planning and corporate accounting for the Mission Viejo Co., a land development firm. He had been senior director of financial planning and corporate accounting. Before joining the Mission Viejo Co. in 1979 as an analyst, he was an accountant with Chauser & Co.
