WASHINGTON —
Former District of Columbia Delegate Walter Fauntroy was sentenced to two years probation after pleading guilty to a reduced misdemeanor charge of falsifying a financial report to Congress.
U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman imposed the sentence Wednesday, along with a $1,000 fine and 300 hours of community service, after Fauntroy admitted wrongly listing a $23,887 church donation on his 1988 disclosure form.
