Microsoft Signs Computer Service Agreement: The Redmond, Wash.-based software maker said it has struck a deal with a Philippine company to provide technical assistance to local users of Microsoft Corp. computer programs. Under the agreement with Ayala Systems Technology Inc., a unit of the conglomerate Ayala Corp. in Makati, registered Microsoft software users can telephone for assistance from Ayala Systems engineers. The service will be available beginning Aug. 31, the Philippine launch date of the Windows 95 computer operating system.
