Musician-songwriter Cyrus Clarke will team up with Tom Corbett on guitar and mandolin in an all-acoustic concert Friday at the Presidio chapel in Santa Barbara. Clarke has written music for local groups including the Acousticats, the Phil Salazar Band, and the Cache Valley Drifters.

Gainey Vineyard, Sanford Winery and Carey Cellars are among the 21 Santa Barbara County winemakers scheduled to participate in the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History’s 14th annual wine festival Saturday on the museum grounds.

Chefs from 16 restaurants and caterers in Santa Barbara will join the wineries, with musical entertainment provided by the Mission City Ramblers and a Dixieland ensemble.

The festival will run from 4 to 7 p.m. General admission is $30, which includes unlimited wine tasting and a souvenir wine glass imprinted with the festival logo. Call 682-4711, Ext. 308. The museum is at 2559 Puesta del Sol Road.

Lyle Lovett, with special guest Shawn Colvin, will perform at the Santa Barbara Bowl at 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $20.50, $24, $30 and $34. Call 583-8700. The Bowl is at 1122 N. Milpas St.

Seven student winners of the 1995 Concerto Competition at Santa Barbara’s Music Academy of the West will perform in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Lobero Theatre. Who’s the fastest paintbrush in the west? Artists representing eight galleries in Los Olivos will go a long way to finding out at the ninth annual Los Olivos Vaquero Quick Draw Art Show on Saturday and Sunday.

A highlight of the event is the Artists Quick Draw, at 10:45 a.m. Saturday. The artists will be given 45 minutes to create works of art to be auctioned off beginning at noon. Also on the schedule Saturday are a western barbecue at 1 p.m., sculpting demonstrations from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and a cowboy poetry reading at 5:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Los Olivos will be turned into a Sculpture Walk, with more sculpting demonstrations and finished works on display from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. Los Olivos is about 35 miles north of Santa Barbara, along Highway 154.

Upcoming: Tickets are now on sale for the usually sold-out Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Assn.’s annual wine- and food-tasting extravaganza, “A Celebration of Harvest.” The festival will be Oct. 14 at the Firestone Meadow near Los Olivos. Along with the food and beverage samplings, there will be vineyard tours, exhibits, a silent wine auction and music by J.T. and the Zydeco Zippers. Tickets are $55. Call 688-0881.
