AT&T; Launches New Discounts: AT&T; Corp. is discounting a wide variety of calls made in the United States. The plan, dubbed True Reach Savings, took effect on Friday. Under the plan, customers who spend $25 or more a month on a variety of long-distance calls and services within the United States get a 25% discount. Customers who spend between $10 and $25 a month receive a 10% discount. The discount is based on and applies to domestic long-distance calls, cellular long-distance calls, directory assistance, conference calls, operator-handled calls, calling card calls and True Connections 500 service. Customers don’t have to pay an additional monthly fee to be enrolled.
