Wonderware Corp.: The Irvine supplier of Windows-based software for the industrial automation marketplace said Thursday that it agreed to acquire Soft Systems Engineering Inc. for stock. Specific financial terms were not disclosed. Soft Systems of York, Pa., develops manufacturing software for such industries as food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and pulp and paper.
