Worldwide Medical Corp.: Tridon Corp. of Beverly Hills said Monday it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Worldwide, an Irvine distributor of proprietary diagnostic kits. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Tridon also said it plans to spin off all shares of its Vertex unit, with Tridon shareholders receiving one Vertex share for each 10 shares of Tridon. The acquisition and spinoff are subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals and execution of definitive agreements, Tridon said.
