ACT Networks Inc., a Camarillo producer of computer network access systems, said both sales and profits increased dramatically in its fiscal year ended June 30.

Sales jumped to $20.5 million from $12.6 million in fiscal 1994. Net income during fiscal 1995 rose to $1.3 million, or 24 cents a share, from $209,000, or five cents a share, last year.

In the fourth quarter, net income reached $571,000, or nine cents a share sales, on revenue of $5.7 million. This compares to profit of $97,000, or three cents a share, on revenue of $3.9 million a year ago.

“Sales of our frame relay products continue to increase, accounting for approximately 75% of sales in the fourth quarter,” said Martin Shum, chairman and chief executive.
