Kinko’s Inc., based in Ventura, has agreed to buy $50 million worth of color-adding copiers from Eastman Kodak Co. over the next five years, Kodak has announced.
Eastman Kodak, based in Rochester, N.Y., said it will install an undisclosed number of its ImageSource 110 copiers in Kinko’s copy stores nationwide. The unit lets customers add color to black-and-white documents.
Wendell Wilson, Kinko’s vice president of product development and operations, said color has become “the new standard” in business documents.
“That makes solutions such as the new ImageSource 110 copier from Kodak an integral part of our strategy to make color affordable and accessible to our customers,” he added.
