Thrifty PayLess Buys 2nd Oxnard Pharmacy

Thrifty PayLess Inc. has purchased its second Oxnard pharmacy in the last two months.

In its latest acquisition, the drugstore chain, based in Wilsonville, Ore., bought the prescription records and inventory of John’s Fremont Pharmacy on Ventura Road.

Prescriptions formerly filled at John’s have been moved to a nearby Thrifty drugstore on Ventura Road.

Last month, Thrifty, a division of Thrifty PayLess, purchased the prescription records and inventory of Carriage Medical Pharmacy, also on Ventura Road.

Terms of the purchases were not disclosed.
