Royal Casino Withdraws Agreement With Tribe

Royal Casino Group Inc., a Calabasas gaming company, said it has withdrawn a consulting agreement with a Washington State tribe.

The company said it had entered into a a letter of intent with the Quileute Tribe of La Push, Wash., and posted it with a deposit in April. According to the company, on Aug. 18, Royal was told by a third party that the tribe had also entered into a agreement with another entity.

The tribe missed a deadline to return the deposit and has said it no longer wishes to negotiate with Royal regarding development of the casino. Royal has turned the matter over to its attorneys.
