Heinz acquired the All American Gourmet Co., maker of Budget Gourmet frozen meals, last December for about $200 million from Philip Morris Cos.’ Kraft division. J.J. Heinz Co. then folded the unit into its Weight Watchers unit, which also makes frozen entrees. The two units have three other plants, and Heinz Chairman and Chief Executive Anthony O’Reilly said one of the three will be closed in the future.
