Hollywood Park Finalizes Compton Casino-Hotel Deal: The Inglewood-based racetrack and gambling company said it plans to open the $20-million Crystal Park Hotel and Casino project in the second half of next year. The gaming complex, which will be located in an existing 290-room hotel and convention center, will begin operation with 100 tables. Hollywood Park, which tentatively agreed to open the facility last year, has purchased the convention facility and will lease the casino operations to Compton Entertainment Inc., which holds a license to operate a card club.
