Daniel Howard Cerone and Greg Braxton omitted from their list one of the biggest power players in TV, and certainly the most guileless (“You’re Under Their Influence,” Sept. 10).
This particular individual was past chairman of NBC Entertainment, past chairman of Paramount Pictures, and he is currently chairman and CEO of New World Entertainment, the company that knocked CBS on its Tiffany behind last season by switching its stations to Fox-TV.
In addition, when faced with a decision that weighed the good of his family against career, he chose the former. That’s power! His name is Brandon Tartikoff.
