Harry Halamandaris has been appointed to head Litton Industries Inc.’s Electronic Warfare Systems group. Halamandaris takes on the responsibility recently held by Michael R. Brown, who was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Litton.

Halamandaris was also recently named a corporate vice president at Litton, a Woodland Hills-based defense and electronics systems company.

* Lydia Edwards has been named vice president of sales and marketing at Cambrix Publishing. Previously, Edwards was an executive vice president at Reveal Computer Products, a Packard Bell affiliate she co-founded.

Also, Richard Hart has been named vice president of business development and production at Cambrix. Hart, a lawyer, has produced a series of music education specials for ABC. He was also founder and president of Camelot Licensing. Before that, he was director of business and legal affairs for Warner Bros.

Chatsworth-based Cambrix publishes, licenses and markets CD-ROM multimedia software. The company recently moved from Woodland Hills.

* Mary Kaiser, former executive vice president and chief operating officer of the former Bank of A. Levy, has been selected as president of the California Community Reinvestment Corp., a consortium of more than 50 banks. She was most recently interim president of United Way of Ventura County.

* George L. Argyros has been named a director of the Newhall Land & Farming Co. Argyros is chairman of the board of Arnel & Affiliates, a Costa Mesa investment company. He is also a general partner in Westar Capital.

Newhall Land is a Valencia-based development company.
