Even Nickelodeon is getting in on the O.J. action this weekend. While many of the public-affairs series will be analyzing the outcome of the Simpson trial, Linda Ellerbee will conduct a discussion with children and media experts for “Nick News Special Edition: After the Verdict,” airing at 8 p.m. Sunday on Nickelodeon.

Ellerbee will be joined by James E. Curtis III, deputy district attorney for Riverside, who was a network analyst on the trial, and by kids from Los Angeles and New York who will discuss their feelings about racism, law enforcement, the media, juries and justice.

“The O.J. Simpson trial raised so many important issues that left kids with a lot of questions that no one can really answer,” Ellerbee said. “It’s important for kids to discuss their feelings about this lengthy trial and gain an understanding of how the justice system in this country operates.”
