SANTA ANA : Council Raising Fee for Impounded Cars
Motorists with suspended licenses, drunk drivers and others who have their vehicles impounded will now have to pay $62 rather than $48 to get them back.
The City Council voted unanimously this week to raise the fees for impounded vehicles to cover costs.
A final vote on the higher fees is set for Oct. 16. The resolution would take effect 30 days after the second vote.
