Schrenker Joins Irvine Law Firm; HR Alternatives Names Director

Henry P. Schrenker has joined the Irvine law firm of Kasdan, Simonds, Peterson, McIntyre, Epstein & Martin. He was formerly a sole practitioner specializing in construction, real estate, business and tort litigation. Before that, Schrenker was a partner with the law firm of DiCaro, Highman, D’Antony, Dillard, Fuller & Gregor, where he managed the Riverside County office.

Lawrence P. Ball has joined HR Alternatives Inc., an Irvine-based human resources consulting firm, as director, employer services. He was previously senior project manager of the human resources division of the Orange County Transportation Authority, and before that spent nine years as manager of the Orange County office of the Employers Group.

Norman Farquhar has joined the board of directors of DataWorks Corp., a San Diego software company. Farquhar is senior vice president and chief financial officer for Wonderware Corp., an Irvine industrial automation software company.

Barbara Kranz, manager of catering and special events at Knott’s Berry Farm, has been elected regional vice president of the National Assn. of Catering Executives.

Dan Shapero has been appointed vice president of product management, client/server for State of the Art, an Irvine accounting software company. Shapero was previously with Platinum Software and Ernst & Young.
