4-Year High Schools, Magnet Campus Focus of Talks

Share

The Simi Valley Unified School District is offering a series of meetings to inform parents and students about plans to make a transition to four-year high schools and open a new magnet school next year.

The school board voted last year to add freshmen to district high schools, close Sequoia Junior High School, and open a magnet school specializing in performing arts and technology on its site.

The district will survey parents and students at the end of October to gauge interest in the new school.
