The Huntington Beach Art Center will begin offering classes and workshops for all ages and skill levels in January. Each class will be led by an experienced teacher and will have no more than 15 participants.
Classes will range from “Creative Drama” for 8- to 12-year-olds to “Skateboard Art” for 13- to 17-year-olds. Other subjects include watercolor, clay, portraiture, and basic film animation. Two parent-child classes also will be offered, as well as an educators’ workshop in turning figure drawings into sculptures.
Non-member prices range from $3 for a portfolio review night and $4 for the one-day “Day of the Dead” children’s workshop to $100 for a five-session class in “Self-Discovery and Multi-Media.” Call (714) 374-1650 for a complete schedule.
