Dos Pueblos Blasts Buena in Crucial Game

Dos Pueblos demolished Channel League rival Buena, 35-7, Friday night in a crucial matchup that should aid the Chargers in the playoff homestretch.

Chargers’ quarterback Anthony Ramos blew open the game late in the third quarter after a 92-yard touchdown run which came off a broken play. Ramos ended the game with eight completions in 18 attempts for 81 yards and 152 yards rushing in nine carries. Ramos connected with wide receiver J.J. Brunner on touchdown passes of 13 and three yards for the Chargers (4-3, 3-1 in league play).

The lone bright point for the Bulldogs (3-3-1, 2-2) came in the middle of the second quarter when Josh Cross ran up the middle for a one-yard touchdown. Cross finished the game with 32 yards in 12 carries.
