Wyle Electronics: The Irvine electronics distributor said third-quarter net income reached $10.1 million, or 80 cents a share. That contrasts with a net loss of $10.6 million, or 85 cents a share, for the 1994 third quarter, which included a charge of $13.4 million related to a divestiture. Sales climbed 34% to a record $273.5 million from $204.1 million. For the first nine months, net income was $25.6 million, or $2.03 a share, contrasted with a year-earlier net loss of $3.5 million, or 28 cents a share. Sales increased 37% to $778.4 million from $567.8 million.
