OK, let’s see if I get this right. USC football player Ken Haslip twice failed his SAT exams, then passed the third time with a score of twice what he achieved before. They now allege he cheated and he’s suing for $8 million.

Another USC player, Shawn Walters, allegedly received $15,900 in cash and other benefits from an agent.

Across town, Donnie Edwards received a paltry $150 in groceries allegedly sent by an agent. Edwards has made restitution by donating $150 to the National City Boys Club.

I guess privately funded universities set their sights higher than do state-supported schools.
