LAKE FOREST : Council OKs Changes in Investment Policy
A consultant who reviewed the city’s recent investments and financial policies recommended adjustments in municipal investment policy that the City Council unanimously endorsed at its meeting Tuesday.
The changes advised by Joe Aguilar, senior manager for consulting firm Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Co., relate to short-term deposits in money-market funds, guidelines for new investments and commission disclosure by individuals or investment services working for the city.
The council passed the consultant’s recommendations with little comment.
