Premier Laser Systems Inc.: The Irvine medical laser manufacturer recorded a net loss of $1.5 million, or 34 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, compared with a net loss of $633,290, or 36 cents a share, for the corresponding quarter last year. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 declined 61% to $206,000 from $526,000. A first-half net loss of $2.7 million, or 60 cents a share, was reported, compared with a net loss of $1.6 million, or 90 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Sales dropped 54% to $318,768 from $693,069.
