VENTURA COUNTY WEEKEND : SUNDAY : SIGNATURE EVENT

Tom Hanks autographed a limited edition “Apollo 13” lithograph. Elton John signed one of his CDs. These and other goodies--including items donated by Elizabeth Taylor, Jodie Foster, Robert Redford and others--will be up for grabs when Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson host a benefit celebrity auction at the Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo. Proceeds will go to AIDS Care preventive programs and the Christopher House, a care facility for people living with AIDS. Steenburgen and Danson will mingle with guests during a 4 p.m. hors d’oeuvre-wine reception and silent auction.
