Late British Comic Cook to Be Honored

“Bedazzling! A Celebration of Peter Cook” will be held Thursday in two parts, at 7 p.m. and at 9:30 p.m., at the Directors Guild, 7920 Sunset Blvd.

In association with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the American Cinematheque will honor the late British comedian first with a screening of “Bedazzled” (1967), which will be followed by a discussion with its co-star Dudley Moore, who was Cook’s partner in comedy and who will also introduce the 9:30 p.m. program of clips featuring Cook and himself.
