The Angels added six minor league players, including right-handed pitcher Pete Janicki, to their 40-man roster.
Janicki, an El Dorado High graduate who was the Angels’ first-round draft pick in 1992, was 9-4 at Class-A Lake Elsinore and 1-4 at triple-A Vancouver last season. Joining Janicki are pitchers Geoff Edsell, Ryan Hancock and Ben VanRyn and infielders George Arias and Tim Harkrider.
