Entrepreneur Series: Small business owners who have been operating their own companies for at least five years can participate in the free, 10-week Entrepreneur’s Training Program given by the Valley Economic Development Center. Funded by the city of Los Angeles, the program includes instruction on strategic planning, marketing, sales and personnel management. The next program begins Nov. 28. Business Outlook: The 47th annual Business Outlook Conference, sponsored by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Nov. 29, at the Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.
