Cybernetics Products Inc.: The Santa Ana manufacturer of drills and routers for the electronic circuit board industry reported a net loss of $191,000, or 3 cents a share, for the third quarter. Cybernetics lost $321,000, or 6 cents a share, for the comparable quarter last year, which included income of $158,000 from discontinued operations. Revenue was up 53% to $5.2 million from $3.4 million.

The company posted a net loss of $6.4 million, or $1 a share, for the nine-month period, which included a $3.5-million write-off of goodwill and a $600,000 write-down of inventory. A year ago, the company lost $176,000, or 4 cents a share. Revenue rose 39% to $13.9 million from $10 million.
