Toys for Tots Drive to Begin Saturday

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s annual Toys for Tots drive that distributes holiday presents to disadvantaged children will be kicked off Saturday with an appearance by Santa Claus and Marine reservists in full dress blues.

The public is invited and asked to bring an unwrapped toy to donate. Photos may be taken with Santa Claus at no charge. Refreshments will also be provided.

The Toys for Tots opening celebration will be held at 11 a.m. at the Nesen Motor Co. dealerships in the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall. Donated toys may be dropped off at any Nesen showroom or service center in the auto mall. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 18.
