VENTURA : ‘Scared Safe’ to Teach Rational Responses
- Share via
The Ventura Police Department is presenting “Scared Safe,” a personal safety program, at 6:15 tonight at the station.
Residents are invited to a lecture on home safety. Police will then escort them through a series of imaginary scenarios where they may be robbed at gunpoint, harassed by gang members, or placed in other simulated danger situations.
Once the scenario course is completed, participants will meet with safety experts and discuss the simulated crimes and appropriate responses.
