FULLERTON : 2nd Workshop Set on Hillcrest Park Plan
- Share via
The second of two public workshops on the development of a master plan for Hillcrest Park will take place Thursday.
The public is invited to attend the workshop, which will be held in the park’s recreation center at 7:30 p.m.
Hillcrest Park opened in 1924 and has become one of the city’s favorites.
It houses the wood-frame building that was at one time the city’s Children’s Library, then a Girl Scout house and, more recently, the office of the Fullerton chapter of the American Red Cross.
The recreation center, on the northwest corner of Lemon Street and Valley View Drive, was built in 1932.
Information: (714) 738-6590.
