Westlake Village : Yacht Club Planning Westlake Regatta

Capping off its series of holiday races, the Westlake Yacht Club will host its Kris Kringle Regatta on the waters of Westlake Lake on Sunday.
After the success of the two previous holiday events, organizers expect a large turnout. In October, the Trick or Treat Regatta drew 38 entries. November’s Turkey Day Regatta had 42. All three races have been sponsored by Young Realtors of Westlake Village.
Sunday’s races, open to all affiliated members of the Southern California Yachting Assn., will begin at 12:30 p.m., weather permitting. Registration is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to noon on race day. A meeting for participating skippers will be held at noon.
The entry fee is $5.
