UCLA Women Hold Off Fresno
Nickey Hilbert scored 20 points and Kisa Hughes had a season-high 19 to help UCLA end Fresno State’s three-game winning streak with a 75-70 victory Saturday in women’s basketball before 350 at Pauley Pavilion.
Hilbert added eight rebounds and four assists and Hughes had 11 rebounds to record her first double-double of the year. Staci Oddo led the Bulldogs (3-2) with 21 points.
The Bruins (2-1) outrebounded the Bulldogs, 53-38, and had 15 steals.
