COUNTYWIDE : Sponsorships Sought for Business Camp

Share

The California Business Week Foundation is seeking $250 sponsorships from local businesses to send local high school students to business camp next summer.

During ’96 Business Week, which takes place Aug. 4-9 at Cal Lutheran University, students will learn about business by developing their own products, creating marketing plans, and tracking their progress throughout the week.

Students will learn how to start a business and will mix with local business leaders. They also will participate in seminars on business and free enterprise. The event is sponsored by the Federated Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ventura County, the Ventura County Economic Development Assn., and the Ventura County superintendent of schools.
