Hughes Leads UCLA Women to Victory

UCLA senior Kisa Hughes had 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Bruins to a 73-59 victory over UC Irvine Saturday in a nonconference women’s basketball game at the Bren Center.

Nickey Hilbert added 13 points, and Tawana Grimes had 11 and five rebounds for the Bruins (4-1). Senior Allah-mi Basheer and sophomore Leticia Oseguera scored 19 points each for Irvine (4-1).
