The Olive Heights Citrus Assn. packinghouse in Orange was once among the busiest in the county.
The center employed dozens of workers who took loads of oranges off trains, washed and cleaned them and placed them in boxes for market.
The closed packinghouse is now in disrepair. The county plans to tear it down at year’s end.
