DIALING FOR GUITARS: As part of its pledge drive during the recent airing of the concert video “Bonnie Raitt: Road Tested,” public TV station KCET auctioned off an autographed Raitt signature model Stratocaster guitar. The winning bidder? Tom Petty, who called in a pledge of $6,000 himself to a thrilled volunteer. A check was soon delivered, and the station reports that Petty--who usually gets his guitars for free--was sent the Strat. Maybe next time he will donate one of his signature model Rickenbackers. Wonder if Raitt could use one?
