Ex-Trader’s Friends Launch Leeson Lager: Disgraced trader Nick Leeson may be spending Christmas in a Singapore jail, but his colleagues will toast him from afar with a novelty beer commemorating the dealings that brought down Barings bank. Hong Kong’s South China Brewery said it has produced 100 cases of a limited-edition brew called Leeson Lager, billed as the world’s costliest beer. The lager was circulating in Hong Kong courtesy of former Leeson colleagues.
