SAN CLEMENTE : Speakers Bureau to Get the City’s Word Out
- Share via
As part of an effort to improve communications between City Hall and residents, the city has instituted a speakers bureau.
The program will make city officials available to any local organization, school or homeowners association that requests a speaker on topics ranging from gang control to finances to bicycle safety.
“One of our main priorities is to increase communications with residents,” said City Manager Michael W. Parness. “We can do that by actually going into our neighborhoods where the community tends to orient.”
The speakers bureau is one of several programs the city is developing to better inform the public, Parness said.
Residents can contact the city for a list of topics or to request a speaker. Information: (714) 361-8254.
