Creeping Commercials

Are there others out there who have noticed a creeping trend toward the use of commericals among the preveiws of comming attractions and corny popcorn and candy plugs in local movie houses? If I want to see Whitney Houston’s “Exhale” I can do it for free on MTV, thank you very much. I don’t want to be held captive in a theater when I’ve just plunked down $7.50 and watch a music video disguised as a “preview.”
