SIMI VALLEY : Bingo Fund-Raiser Planned for Center

An evening of bingo games will be held Tuesday as the initial fund-raiser to benefit the Domestic Violence Recovery Center--a new nonprofit organization that offers long-term treatment for victims and perpetrators of domestic violence and their families.
Warm-up play will begin at 5:15 p.m. with bingo games to be conducted and door prizes awarded beginning at 6:30 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1325 Royal Ave., Simi Valley. Co-sponsors of the fund-raiser are the church and the Knights of Columbus.
Directors of the recovery center include schools Supt. Mary Beth Wolford and City Councilwoman Sandi Webb.
