A Session on Dealing With Differences

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will continue its weekly discussion series “Serendipity” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Bob and Yvonne Turnbull will speak on “Dealing with Personality Differences in a Relationship.” A $3 donation is requested. The church will offer a weekly support group led by psychologist Karin Ann Montgomery from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sundays. The group helps those who have a loved one with a serious mental illness. Unity Church of Tustin is offering a “Watchnight” service from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The two parts of the traditional New Year’s Eve service include writing down issues or concerns accumulated during 1995 that one wishes to be released. Participants pray as the papers are burned. Then letters are written to God and sealed in a self-addressed envelope. The letters are held in prayer for nine months, then mailed back to the writer. The church is at 14402 Prospect Ave., Tustin.
