Made in the U.S.A.

Share

We had a very nice Christmas with “tons of loot” in beautifully wrapped packages under our tree.

This not having been the greatest of years for people who are non-rich, many presents ran to small electric devices. In the opening process, I noted that most of these products had been made in China for U.S. companies, with a smattering having been produced in Russia, Algeria, Tunisia, Mexico and Japan.

Now whatever happened to “Made in U.S.A.?” If our blue-collar wage-earners cannot get enough income from their work to buy these products, are we not going to be left with an economy that only produces and exports cigarettes and war materials, production in which we excel? Can we profit enough from these products to provide the entitlements our people expect?
