Ten years ago today, two bandits handcuffed the clerks and looted a Seal Beach jewelry store while a police officer was in the back with the owner.
The officer was watching videotapes of the two, who had come into the store earlier and acted suspiciously. Hearing the smashing of display cases, the officer ran to the front and fired at the robbers as they escaped.
