Burgess Scores 48, Woodbridge Rolls

Chris Burgess scored 48 points to lead the fifth-ranked Woodbridge to a 103-69 victory over University Wednesday. Burgess hit 20 of 26 from the field, including three three-pointers, and had 12 rebounds. Scoring 28 in the first half and 14 in the third, Burgess left the game early in the fourth quarter.

Teammate Brandon Beeson hit 10 of 12 from the field for his 29 points for Woodbridge (13-4). He led in rebounding with 21 and had eight assists.

Nathan Scoggin led University (7-8) with 14 points, including four three-pointers.
