Well, Perhaps Perception Was Not Wrong After All

Please allow me to comment on some poor wording by Sports Editor Bill Dwyre in a story on ethics and the sports media.
I am well aware of newspaper guidelines concerning Christmas gifts, free tickets and favors in general.
My perception that these practices still go on are not “somewhat outdated” as Mr. Dwyre said. They are based upon what I have seen and been told in the last five years, as well as before that.
