Two buildings that were once part of the Lockheed Corp.’s Burbank operations were sold last month to separate buyers for about $15 million total, according to an announcement by the Seeley Co., a Los Angeles real-estate firm.

One building, a 115,000-square-foot office structure at 2311 N. Hollywood Way, was purchased by GORT, a Bay Area partnership, said Boyd Higgins of the Seeley Co., one of the brokers that handled the sale. GORT is not yet sure who will be the occupant, a spokesman said.

The other building, a 192,000-square-foot office building at 3110 Thornton Ave., was purchased by M. David Paul, a Santa Monica developer, who will renovate it, then lease it, Higgins said.

“This is going to bring new employment to Burbank,” he added.

Both buildings have been empty for more than a year, he said.

Two other Lockheed buildings in the vicinity are in negotiations to be leased, he said.
